| BACK HOME A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away The Star Wars Saga in 1977 surprised audiences with its great story, stunning visuals and expert direction by George Lucas. All of the three movies—STAR WARS, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and RETURN OF THE JEDI were successful in the box office. Then on the year 1997, the three entries were re-released in a SPECIAL EDITION with new scenes, digitally restored sound and enhanced visual effects by Industrial Light and Magic, the visual effects team responsible for making the Star Wars Saga. STAR WARS (1977) The first film STAR WARS--Episode IV is set (Like all the Star Wars movies) A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. And is about a Rebellion that attempts to bring peace to the galaxy by fighting the Empire, commanded by Darth Vader, an evil Sith Lord. Vader is the last of the Sith Lords and his goal, and assignment for the Emperor is to tighten his grip in the entire universe with the help of his troops. When Princess Leia, is kidnapped and steals information about the DEATH STAR—a battle station able to destroy an entire planet, two Droids C3PO, and R2D2 take them to young Luke Skywalker, a boy who lives on the planet Tatooine and is the son of late Jedi Anakin Skywalker, he lives with his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. Luke Skywalker takes the information of the robots to Obi Wan Kenobi, a wise old Jedi who once knew his father. Luke is told that a Jedi is a warrior who uses a Light Saber, a laser sword that cuts harder than steel and uses the knowledge of the Force. The Force is an energy shield that binds the galaxy and a Jedi is able to see the future, move things and use it as powerful energy. When Luke, the two Droids and Obi Wan meet hot shot pilot Han Solo, they rescue the princess and attempt to destroy the Death Star with the plans.
